Forty-two (42) years after its creation and the sudden departure of its founder, the late Jean Kessié KUYO, on February 06, 2012, KUYO PIPELINE is doing well and continues to make its contribution to the economic development of Côte d’Ivoire. Employing over a hundred young Ivorians, this local company has set itself the vision of developing its leadership in the African industrial sector by capitalizing on its know-how and experience. At the helm of the company since 2015, its young Managing Director, Ms. Vanessa KUYO, intends to realize this vision by building on the values of commitment, performance, innovation and ethics.

On Thursday November 23, 2023, Mrs. Vanessa KUYO was awarded the rank of Chevalier in the Order of National Merit for the successful construction of an 11 km gas pipeline as part of the development of the world-class Whale field. The National Order of Merit of Côte d’Ivoire is an honorary order that rewards personal merit and outstanding service to the nation. This is the highest order in the country. With this award, the Ivorian government reaffirms its commitment to ongoing efforts to promote gender equality and equal opportunity.

In an industry largely dominated by men, Vanessa Kuyo is admired for her ability to manage large-scale projects from start to finish in the energy, hydrocarbons, mining and agri-food sectors. This contribution to Côte d’Ivoire’s economic development is undoubtedly a source of inspiration and motivation for Ivorian youth in general and women in particular.
