Mr. Sangafowa COULIBALY, Minister of Mines, Petroleum and Energy, understands this perfectly, and has launched the SALON INTERNATIONAL DES RESSOURCES EXTRACTIVES ET ENERGETIQUES (SIREXE), a contact and exchange platform for the development of Ivorian extractive and energy resources.
On Tuesday, May 7, 2024, in the meeting room of the Ministry of Mines, Petroleum and Energy, a meeting was held to present the project to organize this trade show; a meeting attended by Mrs. KUYO Vanessa, Managing Director of the company KUYO PIPELINE.
KUYO PIPELINE is an Ivorian company that has excelled in the construction and maintenance of oil, mining and energy infrastructures for over 40 years. Minister Sangafowa COULIBALY’s presence is in line with the commitment of the Ivorian Head of State, SEM Alassane OUATTARA, to promote Local Content. Ivorian law no. 2022-408 of June 13, 2022 on Local Content, adopted by the Council of Ministers on Wednesday May 24, 2023, is now in force.
Local Content is the legislative and regulatory framework that enables the State of Côte d’Ivoire to formalize the integration of local companies and labor into production processes during bilateral projects in the extractive and energy resources sector.
KUYO PIPELINE intends to play a very active role in the successful organization of this trade show, to help promote Côte d’Ivoire’s wealth and skills.
