The town of Port-Bouet was once again buzzing with the sound of flashing lights and sirens as the President of the Republic of Italy, His Excellency Sergio MATTARELLA, visited the Beach Valve Station of the BALEINE project initiated by the ENI Group in Côte d’Ivoire.
This visit, which follows on from the official visit of the Italian Head of State to Côte d’Ivoire, is part of the enhanced cooperation between the two countries. On March 7, 2024, PETROCI HOLING and the ENI Group announced the discovery of a new CALAO field in the Ivorian sedimentary basin on block CI-205.
This important discovery for Côte d’Ivoire’s hydrocarbon sector provides a new opportunity for local companies such as KUYO PIPELINE CONSTRUCTION ET MAINTENANCE to demonstrate the wealth of local skills.
